Justin Barrett was the star as George Bar B moved joint second in Section 3 of the Men's League with a 5-4 victory over Morris Motors SC A Barrett hit an amazing 170 finish when he beat Martin Andrews to inspire their success.

The top-of-the-table clash in Men's Section 3 saw Crown Inn, Charlton-on-Otmoor, consolidate their lead with a 7-2 win over second-placed Masons Arms A.

Black Horse made it six wins on the trot when they visited Marston British Legion in Section 4.

Victories from Tony Wheeler and Paul Hudson gave them a 2-0 lead. Legion pulled one game back when Warden beat Kim Percival.

The home side took a 3-0 lead through wins from Allnutt, Green and Tina Walton.

Shears extended their lead at the top of the Premier Section with a stunning 8-1 win over the visiting Lamb Inn, Sandra Cox beating Iris Doyle to score the visitors' only success.

Cricketers Arms A remain at the top of Section 5 after a narrow 5-4 win over the visiting Kennington Social Club.

Crown House Club B entertained Catherine Wheel in Section 6 and raced into a 4-0 lead through Maggie Ashby, Jill Hoggett, Karen Wooster and Nicky Osborn.

The visitors narrowed the gap to 4-2 after Sarah Brain and Nella Meade both won.

Masons Arms A finally broke their duck in Section 10 with a convincing 7-2 victory at home to Somerset House, thanks to a 5-1 win in the pairs.

Railway Social Club B made a good start to their match at Shelley Arms taking a 2-0 lead, before the home side hit back to equalise.

Railway restored their lead to 4-2 and hung on for a 5-4 success. Shelley's A Jordan, despite losing her game, scored a maximum 180.

Donnington Arms have been withdrawn from Men's Section 9 for not completing their fixtures.
