A MAN accused of raping a teenager in a portable toilet told jurors yesterday: “I didn’t in any way force her”.

Austin Blacker denies making the 14-year-old girl perform a sex act at a birthday party at Gagingwell, near Enstone, in March last year.

The 20-year-old, of North Street, Middle Barton, told the jury at Oxford Crown Court: “She went down to do it. She did the movement, I didn’t force her. If she didn’t want to be there, she could have walked out. I didn’t in any way force her.”

Blacker said he had been drinking and had taken cocaine.

He said the sex act was consensual and lasted about 10 seconds before the girl’s friends knocked on the toilet door and she had then left.

Kevin Barry, prosecuting, asked Blacker if he had asked the girl’s consent.

He replied: “I can’t remember the exact words but I think I asked her. It’s in my head for some reason, so I’m sure I did.”

The court heard Blacker was told in December he would not be charged over the incident, but that decision was reversed.

The jury is expected to retire to consider its verdict today.
