WALLINGFORD VOLUNTEER CENTRE We urgently need more volunteer drivers Could you help?
To enable us to meet the number of requests received each week we urgently need more volunteer drivers, particularly those willing to drive clients to appointments at the Oxford and Reading hospitals. Volunteers receive a mileage allowance for each journey and are issued with a permit to alleviate the problems of parking at these hospitals.
You do not have to commit to a regular time or number of hours; we can work around your other commitments and offer jobs to suit you and your lifestyle. Every hour offered is valuable to us, whether it’s 2 or 3 a month or several each week.
