ONE river in Oxfordshire has been placed on Floodwatch following heavy rain overnight.
There is a risk of flooding on low-lying land and roads near the River Ray from Shipton Lee to Islip, according to the Environment Agency.
There are 11 Floodwatch warnings on different parts of the River Thames but only one in Oxfordshire.
The Met Office is predicting further heavy showers throughout the day with the weather becoming brighter this evening.
