I am writing on behalf of the Meningitis Trust to say thank you to everyone who took part in, and supported, our London to Paris Cycle Challenge.

Our team of 41 cyclists took on the sweltering heat and are on track to raise over £130,000 – our best year yet – to help our work.

At the Meningitis Trust, we offer practical and emotional support to anyone affected by the disease, and we are dedicated to raising life-saving awareness of meningitis, and its symptoms.

But, we are reliant on voluntary donations to continue our work, so events such as this are essential to our future.

Next year’s London to Paris Cycle Challenge will take place from July 1-4 and we are looking for people to sign up and make a difference to those affected by meningitis.

This challenge links two great European cities, and covers around 310km in just three days.

We are always looking for people to help with the work of the trust by getting involved in fundraising. And whether it’s taking on a once in a lifetime challenge, or holding a sponsored walk, you can be assured that your efforts will make a huge difference to thousands of people across the UK who are living with the impact of the disease right now.

Visit meningitis-trust.org for more information about what we do and how you can help.
