PATIENTS are set to benefit from a £250,000 facelift at an Abingdon doctors' surgery.
The revamped Abingdon Surgery was opened by Oxford West and Abingdon MP Nicola Blackwood on Saturday.
The practice in Stert Street has converted a former office building next door into treatment rooms and a complete refurbishment of the original surgery building.
Senior partner Dr Neil Crossley said: “There’s now more space, the surgery is cleaner and brighter and we’re able to offer our patients even better care.
“We can now offer more minor surgery services, there’s more space for consulting with our nurses and more room to have doctors-in-training in the building.
“This means there will be an increased number of doctors available to see patients who will be able to get appointments more quickly.”
