Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Henley.
A 16-year-old girl was walking down an alleyway on Noble Road when she was approached by a man.
A police spokesman said: "The man asked for directions to Gillotts School, and said that he was doing some decoration work there.
"He then touched her inappropriately before walking off. The girl reported this to the police when she got home."
The assault happened at about 10am on Monday but details were only released this afternoon.
The man is described as 5ft 8in tall, with dark hair and yellow, crooked teeth. He was about 40 years old and was wearing brown three-quarter length shorts and a blue jumper with white paint stains on it.
Det Con Kim Dugmore said: “I am appealing for anyone with any information about this attack to come forward and contact me.
“I believe that there may have been a few walkers in the area at the time and I am particularly keen to speak to them, or anyone who may have seen a man matching his description in the area.”
