WOULD it not be a good idea that when the Wolvercote bridge engineers move from their caravan site between the A40 and the A34 viaduct, it could be used for travellers instead of them using lanes, lay-bys and anywhere else they set up camp.
The site has access to the A40 and has a hard-standing surface plus other facilities, with a few adaptations it would make an ideal site and would be cheaper and easier to maintain by the local council.
