MILLIE Beauchamp is the real hero in the tragic story her ex-footballer husband Joey tells today.
Mr Beauchamp did his best to drink his life away and it would have been understandable if Mrs Beauchamp had decided to walk away for the sake of herself and the couple’s daughter.
But she didn’t.
And while Mr Beauchamp is the one who has (hopefully) turned his life around, it can only be through the love and support of his wife and daughter that he has been able to.
