I WANT to express my gratitude to those MG owners who joined us, the Abingdon Works Centre of the MG Car Club, at the Abingdon Air & Country Show on Dalton Barracks last month in a record number.
We will be able to donate £1,000 to the show’s charity, the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance. It was more poignant this year since two of our members were airlifted to hospital following a road accident on New Year’s Day.
Throughout the year, we will have a collection bucket at all the events we attend and would welcome donations to this very worthy cause.
