BARONESS Thatcher’s return to Downing Street last week serves as a chilling reminder of the past.
Her government will forever be remembered for destroying industries, massive unemployment, a crumbling health service, underfunded schools, broken communities and riots in the streets.
I hope the savage cuts planned by Messrs Cameron and Clegg don’t see a repeat of those horrors.
