PROF Tony Monaco and his team have seemingly made a significant breakthrough in identifying autism.
The team hope to have a test in place by 2013 to enable parents to identify if their children will have the condition.
Early diagnosis is critical for all diseases and conditions, but this will enable parents to be ready to support and help their child as infants and hopefully give them a better life.
