Two teenagers were taken to hospital with burns after an explosion in a Second World War pillbox.
Police were called shortly after 3pm to an area off London Road.
The road was closed off both ways between the A420 and A4095 Church Street in Faringdon.
Two teenagers were taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon suffering from superficial burns.
A powdered substance found in the building was taken off by the fire service for analysis.
