Sir – Once again I feel I must write about the excellent care I have received from the NHS.
After experiencing dizziness in the night, I fell when my legs gave way.
When I had difficulty walking the next day, I made an appointment with my GP, Dr Stephen Bright, at the Windrush Health Centre.
He very quickly diagnosed a possible cerebellar stroke and booked me into the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, immediately. After several tests and a brain scan, this diagnosis was confirmed.
I then had a five-day stay in the hospital, where I quickly started to make a good recovery.
I would like to thank everyone concerned for the speed in which I was treated.
Eileen Hunt, Witney
