House prices in Oxfordshire remained broadly unchanged between March and April, figures showed today.
The Land Registry said the average price of homes sold in Oxfordshire in April was £237,817, compared to £236,122 in March.
The average price has edged up 2.5 per cent so far this year, and the annual rate of inflation has risen to more than 10 per cent. However, prices have a long way to go before they reach the levels of April 2008, when the average peaked at £249,321.
Across England and Wales, the average cost of a property rose by 0.2 per cent during April.
