A biker in his 50s has died in hospital following a crash in the north of the county this afternoon.
The motorcyclist’s blue Suzuki was in a collision with a blue Mitsubishi Shogun towing a horsebox at about 12.30pm.
The incident took place on the B4035 near Swalcliffe on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border west of Banbury.
The rider, who died from his injuries at the John Radcliffe Hospital, was from Thame. The occupants of the car, and the horse, were uninjured.
Sgt Pete Jell, the officer investigating the crash, said: “The cause of the collision is being investigated and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw any of the vehicles prior to the collision.”
