An elderly man is seriously injured in hospital following a collision involving a cyclist and a motorcyclist this morning.
The incident happened on the A4074 Dorchester bypass, on the Oxford-bound carriageway, close to the Berinsfield roundabout at about 10.30am.
The 78-year-old cyclist, who was believed to have been crossing the road, was airlifted to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
He is currently in a “serious condition”, a police spokesman said.
The motorycylist, who is in his early 20s and from Buckinghamshire, was driven to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Officers closed the road, but it has now re-opened.
