YOUNG footballer Daniel Meade’s career is back on track and we wish him the best.
The 21-year-old’s career was left in tatters when an attack left him needing 100 stitches and three metal plates in his jaw.
Now the promising player has won a scholarship at the University of San Diego worth about $160,000.
He didn’t give up on his dreams when disaster struck and we applaud him for his bravery.
Perhaps we will soon be seeing him playing Major League Soccer like England hero David Beckham.
