James Kear, 19, of Kenley Avenue, Carterton, admitted criminal damage to a shop window, valued at £390, in Carterton on August 15, and failure to surrender to court bail on April 15. Fined £200 and made to pay £390 compensation, £125 costs, and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also detained in the court until the end of the day, deemed served by time already spent in custody.

Jayson Nutt, 37, of Mickle Way, Forest Hill, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely an iPod Nano, worth £50, on April 23; a Sainsbury’s Bag for Life, handbag, purse, mobile phone and various other items, of an unknown value, on April 11; and a Citroen Saxo, of an unknown value, on April 23. Jailed for 12 weeks.

Howard Russell, 55, of Langley Road, Abingdon, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Abingdon on April 24. Fined £200, with £15 costs.

Neil Potter, 31, of Lambs Crescent, Banbury, admitted shoplifting four bottles of Champagne, valued at £108, from Marks & Spencer in Oxford on April 15. Discharged conditionally for six months and made to pay costs of £40.

Christopher Shrimpton, 65, of Church Lane, Princes Risborough, admitted drink driving in High Street, Thame, on April 10. Namely having 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Given 100 hours’ unpaid work, made to pay £85 costs, and banned from driving for 40 months.

Claire Turner, 34, of Hollow Way, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on October 24. Discharged conditionally for nine months and made to pay £85 costs.

DIDCOT

Timothy Johnson, 42, of Lymbrook Close, South Leigh, Witney, admitted driving a Scania bus without due care and attention in Watlington High Street between September 5 and 6.

Fined £150, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Solly Klou, 28, of Spey Road, Abingdon, admitted driving without insurance in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on September 26. Fined £200, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.

Norman Kuhne, 49, of Lidsey Road, Banbury, admitted driving without a licence and speeding at 59mph in the 50mph Eastern Bypass, Oxford, on November 21. Fined £140, £65 costs, £15 victim surcharge. Also given three penalty points.

Oludare Maxwell, 38, of Balfour Road, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence in Stile Road, Oxford, on November 24. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.

Conan McDonald, 22, of Bicester Road, Kidlington, admitted driving without insurance in Marston Road, Oxford, on November 28. Fined £200, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six penalty points.

Rachel Moody, 38, of Manor Wood Gate, Lower Shiplake, admitted allowing a vehicle to wait in Market Place, Henley-on-Thames, when waiting was prohibited. Fined £80, £65 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

George Njoroge, 20, of Robin Hood Road, Coventry, admitted driving without insurance in Shotover Country Park, Oxford, on September 22. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Banned from driving for five months.

Michael Pitt, 40, of St Peter’s Road, Oxford, admitted using a vehicle without an MOT and with an exhaust system inefficient or not maintained in St Margaret’s Road, Oxford, on October 18. Fined £170, costs of £65 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

BANBURY

Trevor Tyler, 65, of Grange Park, Bicester, convicted of driving without due care and attention on South Side, Steeple Aston, on September 24. Given four points, a £100 fine, £360 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Jason Smith, 32, of Hearthway, Banbury, admitted two counts of making off with petrol without payment in Banbury and using a vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger of injury. Seven other offences taken into consideration. Given 80 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £404.79 compensation and given three points.

Henry Hughes, 53, of Townsend, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in Banbury on February 6. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Matthew Jones, 30, of Arundel Place, Banbury, admitted criminal damage to various property, to an unknown value, in Banbury on April 15. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.

Jason Lloyd, 41, of no fixed address, admitted begging in a public place, possessing cannabis (Class B) and harassment to cause alarm or distress. Jailed for three weeks.

John Phibbs, 59, of Chalford, Stroud, admitted failing to comply with a flashing light “lane closure” automatic device on the A40 at Thornhill Park and Ride on September 7. Fined £130, £15 victims’ surcharge, £65 costs and banned from driving for six months due to totting up.

Donna Maher, 22, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, pleaded guilty to using threatening words/behaviour to cause harassment alarm or distress on March 20 this year. Fined £100. Ordered to pay costs of £15.

Antony Rogers, 23, of Holm Way, Bicester, admitted stealing meat products worth £55 from the Co-op on January 18 this year. Fined £70. Ordered to pay £27.50 in compensation and £15 costs.

Richard Minchin, 30, of Woodfield, Banbury, pleaded guilty to using threatening words/behaviour to cause harassment alarm or distress on March 21 this year. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.
