THE A40 will be closed between the Wolvercote roundabout and Cassington overnight on Saturday.
The road will be closed from 10pm-7am on Sunday to allow columns of a temporary carriageway to be demolished as part of the Wolvercote Viaduct replacement scheme.
The Highways Agency said diversion routes would be fully signposted, and workers would do their best to let pedestrians through.
