Police are appealing for help in tracing a woman after an altercation at an Oxford pub.

Shortly before 11pm on April 16, three men got into a verbal altercation with a fourth man at the City Arms pub in Cowley Road, which turned into a fight.

The resulting fight left three of the four men requiring hospital treatment for injuries sustained during the altercation.

All four men, aged 19, 28, 26 and 26 were arrested on suspicion of affray. The 19-year-old was bailed to appear back at St Aldates police station on May 9, the other three men were bailed until May 12.

PC Darren Little said: “We are appealing for help to track the woman in the CCTV who may have witnessed the incident and will be able to provide valuable information about it.

“I would also like to hear from anyone else who was in the City Arms on the night of the altercation who saw what happened. It was very busy in the pub on the night this happened and there will have been a lot of witnesses.”
