Claire Richardson, 36, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting medical supplies valued at £246.19 from Waitrose in Abingdon on March 22. Jailed for six weeks due to previous convictions and seriousness of the offence.

David Bowley, 20, of London Road, Wheatley, admitted possession of 3.94g of cannabis, a Class B drug, and 21 tablets of benzylpiperazine, a Class C drug, in Oxford on January 8. Fined £70, £15 victims’ surcharge and £10 costs.

Jason Glover, 29, of Brampton Road, Oxford, admitted theft by an employee of a case of vodka valued at £115.14 from the White Horse pub in London Road, Headington, on December 30. Given a six-week curfew and told to pay £57.70 compensation.

Benjamin Joy, 26, of Green Ridges, Oxford, admitted using words or behaviour to give a fear of unlawful violence in Oxford on October 4. Given a six-month alcohol-treatment requirement and 12 months’ supervision. Also told to pay £250 costs.

Chris Long, 35, of Clinton Close, Oxford, convicted of criminal damage to the value of £400 to a window and admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on December 19. Told to pay £350 compensation, a fine of £50, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Trevor Brain, 28, of The Green, Alvescot, Bampton, admitted shoplifting a sandwich and a drink valued at £2.60 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on March 29. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £2.60 compensation and £50 costs.

Theo Dalton, 18, of Poplar Grove, Kennington, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on December 18. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also told to pay £100 compensation.

Ryan Gallini, 24, of Newman Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting four cans of Strongbow valued at £4.19 from Co-op in Oxford on March 30. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Sarah Troughear, 30, of Woodgreen, Witney, admitted two counts of failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to benefit. Fined £300, £100 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Darren Hughes, 25, of Percy Street, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on April 3. Fined £120, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Michael Knight, 32, of Lewell Avenue, Marston, admitted drink driving in Lewell Avenue on April 1. Namely having 87microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35microgrammes. Fined £75, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Carlos Spencer, 18, of Nettlebed Mead, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on March 31. Fined £65, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Matthew Trinder, 39, of Falcon Close, Oxford, convicted of theft from a motor vehicle of 100 litres of diesel, valued at £94.35, belonging to DHL Express UK Ltd on December 19. Fined £110, £100 costs, a £15 victims’ surcharge and told to pay £94 compensation.

Andrew Cribbes, 35, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal in Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 11. Given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Also given a 12-month drug-rehabilitation requirement.

Paul McCartney, 55, of Dirac Place, Didcot, admitted fraud by false representation by tendering a false prescription for medication in Oxford on July 6. Given a two-year conditional discharge.

Michael Morton, 23, of Scott Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to the rear passenger window of a car in Oxford on October 18. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £78.60 compensation.

Felix Doran, of Vicarage Ground Caravan Park, Cogges Lane, Stanton Harcourt, admitted using a motor vehicle or trailer in a condition likely to cause danger of injury on November 26, 2008, on the Oxford Southern Bypass. Namely the weight of the load was such that its use involved a danger of injury to any person. Fined £100, £75 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for two weeks.

Charlotte Clarke, 19, of Bodley Road, Littlemore, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and criminal damage to a police vehicle central console on February 28 in Oxford. Also admitted failing to surrender to court bail on March 10. Given 150 hours’ unpaid work, a £30 fine, £50 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Reuben Whitehouse, 27, of Nowell Road, Oxford, admitted the theft of a Sobell House charity box containing £5 in Oxford on March 8. Jailed for two weeks due to previous convictions and nature of the offence.

Paul Nesbitt, 33, of Fernhill Close, Kidlington, admitted drink driving in Barrow Road, Abingdon, on March 13. Namely having 76microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35microgrammes. Fined £325, £70 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 18 months.

Wesley Power, 27, of Lynmouth Road, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Dirac Place, Didcot, on March 14. Namely having 50microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35microgrammes. Fined £300, £70 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for a year.

Howard Russell, 55, of Langley Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely outside Somerfield in Bury Street, Abingdon. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Jamie Weaving, 24, of Post Office Vaults, Wantage, admitted shoplifting a bottle of vodka and four cans of Special Brew from Waitrose on February 8, shoplifting one can of Special Brew from Rowes Newmarket on March 24, both in Wantage, and shoplifting four cans of Special Brew from Rowes on March 29. Fined £50, £25 costs and £15 victims’ surcharge. Also told to pay £24.23 compensation.
