An Oxford nursery school has been rated outstanding for the third time in a row by Ofsted.
Grandpont Nursery, in Whitehouse Road, South Oxford, received Ofsted's top rating in every single area following an inspection in March.
The report means Grandpont is the only nursery school in the county to have an outstanding judgement in every area. The only recommendation for further improvement was a suggestion the school provided more opportunities in outdoor play for gifted children to develop their early writing skills.
Headteacher Elaine Smith said: To be outstanding in every aspect we are extremely pleased, because that is what we are striving to achieve.
“Our ethos is about looking at the individual child and developing their needs, with the family.”
Nicola Small, 42, from Abingdon Road, has seen her three daughters Eloise, 12, Isobel, 11, and Ariane, four, go through the nursery school.
She said: “You couldn't ask for a better start to a child's life, it is just magical.
“It just gets better and better.”
