THE family of a 24-year-old man killed in an accident near Witney have described him as “having a smile on his face for everyone”.

Adam Tippett, originally from Stone in Staffordshire, but who had lived in Witney for two years, died in the collision with a silver BMW on the A40 near Witney on Sunday.

Police were called to the location between the South Leigh turn off and the A415 Ducklington Lane at 3.30am.

His family said: “Adam was a wonderful person who always had a smile on his face for everyone.

“He loved his family and friends and was never happier than when he was able to spend time with those close to him.

“Working as a joiner, he had spent the last two years living in Witney and was planning to move back to his home town at the end of the following week.

“Adam’s family are incredibly close and are devastated by the loss of their son, brother and grandson who was tragically taken from them.”

The family have not yet set a date for the funeral.
