Sir, Last week, Oxford City Council issued for consultation a draft of its core planning strategy. This is an important document for the future of Oxford and I encourage everyone concerned for the city's future to respond to the consultation (copies from 01865 252718).
Our city faces many challenges as it strives to remain a world-class city and retain the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. It is important that the issues are debated as openly and constructively as possible. On the evening of June 30, CPRE Oxfordshire is hosting a panel debate "Oxford and its Countryside in Question" at Lady Margaret Hall. Everyone is welcome.
