Sprinters Charlotte Cole and Dorcas Wright produced the top performances at the North Oxon Schools Athletics Trials at Tilsley Park, Abingdon.
The pair posted national entry times in the intermediate girls' competition despite unfavourable weather conditions.
Cole, of Banbury School, stormed to victory in the 100m in 12.6secs, with Wright (King's, Witney) second in 12.8.
Wright then gained her revenge in the 200m, taking the honours in 26.0, with Cole second in 26.1.
In the junior girls' competition, Burford's Alice Parsons roared to a sprint double, taking the 100m in 13.4 and the 200m in 27.4 a county standard.
Bicester Community College's Danny Chapman showed his versatility with a track-and-field double in the junior boys' competition.
He scorched home in 12.8 to take the 100m, and also recorded 10.13m to win the shot.
Chris Lord (Cokethorpe, Witney) was another track-and-field hero in the intermediate boys' competition, winning the 100m in 11.9 and the high jump with 1.60m.
There was also double delight for Carterton Community College's Reece Grant, who won the 3,000m in 10mins 41.8secs and the shot with 11.64m.
