HORSPATH'S Ben Cook was run out off the final ball trying to secure the winning run as his side's game with Cumnor 2nd ended in a tie.

Ian Belcher's 54 helped Cumnor to 188-7 and the home side were reduced to 77-6 before Adrian Manger (46) and Matt Kelloway (30) pulled them round.

They still needed an improbable 34 to win from 18 balls, and 12 off the final over, which they nearly achieved when Andy Cummings hit a six, four and single off the first five balls. But then Cook was run out.
