Each interactive briefing will cover a specific legal topic, explaining what the key issues are, how organisations can address them in the most commercially viable way, and how businesses can use the law to their advantage.

Partner John Cole said: "We ran our first legal update briefing at the Magdalen Centre in January this year.

"Feedback from the attendees was so positive that we decided to run a series of legal updates which will provide practical and commercial advice to local businesses on the legal issues that are likely to impact on them the most."

The next briefing will take place on May 24 and is entitled How Will the New Company Law Reform Bill Affect my Business?

It will provide an overview of this most significant change to company law for 20 years, explaining the key elements and how they will impact on company directors, company secretaries, shareholders and every organisation as a whole.
