Sir, A great opportunity has been lost by the House of Lords to take a humane and logical step forward in assisting the terminally ill to end their lives. The bishops, including the Bishop of Oxford, have no right to lecture the terminally ill about the sanctity of life. Who will protect us from these unelected meddlesome priests?
Tony Morris, Oxford Humanist Group, Abingdon
