New 3.5-litre V6 added to Lexus RX range
The revised Lexus RX 300 luxury off-roader is on sale in Britain, priced from £31,890.
Key change to the range is the addition of a new 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine, which develops 272 horsepower and has a zero to 62mph time of 7.8 seconds.
Lexus says a new control logic for by-wire throttle and automatic transmission gives sharper response and the steering has been retuned for improved response, sharper feel and extra assistance at parking speeds.
Specifications are unchanged from the RX 300 with RX 350, SE and SE-L versions available (SE-L gains rear passenger DVD screens).
