KIDLINGTON look to be running away with the Oxford Times Cherwell League title after they were the only winners among the top six sides on Saturday.
Aussie Ross Lupton gave them a flying start by taking two wickets in the first over as Oxford 2nd slumped to 27-5. Miles Picknett (44) and Chris Jones (46) led a recovery of sorts, but Mark Strong (3-28) dismissed them both as the visitors were all out for 128. Mali Richards then hit 12 fours in an unbeaten 63 as Kidlington raced to an eight-wicket win and stretched their lead to a massive 46 points Andy Buckingham signed off with 32 not out in his last game of the season. He will be spending the rest of the summer touring Europe.

Challow & Childrey are a distant second after they came off worse in their drawn clash with Dinton. A good team effort saw the Buckinghamshire outfit close on 203-6, Paul Atkins top-coring with 41. Mark Ellison hit 69 and Will Clarke 42 in Challow's reply, but Nathan Brookes (4-82) and Rodney Brown (4-56) left them hanging on for the draw at 162-8.
**Dinton 17, Challow & Childrey 13

Shipton-under-Wych- wood are even further back in third after slipping to their second defeat in eight days, this time at the hands of Bourton Vale.
Put in to bat, Vale managed 243-9, thanks in the main to Paul Lazenbury (64) and Max Brown (52). Chris Panter took 4-50 in seven overs. Shipton's reply never got off the ground against Robert Pike (3-30) and Nick Anderson (3-39) and they were bowled out for 158.
**Shipton-under-Wychwood 7, Bourton Vale 30

Keith Arnold's 6-47 was the outstanding performance in Banbury Twenty's 76 run win at Milton Keynes Park. Five of his victims fell lbw as Park were dismissed for 131, with only the classy Jamie Wade (50) and the tail providing much resistance. Earlier, Richard Hawkins (56), Dave Clark (47) and Dave Burbidge (42) had taken Twenty to 207-9.
**Milton Keynes Park 6, Banbury XX 30

Kingston Bagpuize were relieved to avoid defeat, although they were still second best in their drawn match with Buckingham Town. Bagpuize asked Town to bat and then looked on as they compiled 249-9, with Dan Harris (83) to the fore. Barry Collis plugged away to take 5-56. Kingston scored quickly, but kept losing wickets to Chas Harris (5-39), so despite Marco Cecchini's 50 they were left hanging on at 187-7.
