THE combined wiles of Abingdon Vale's experienced seamer Robin Newman and
left-arm spinner Paul White proved too much for Great & Little Tew.
The morning leaders collapsed to 97 all out at Hales Meadow, with Newman
taking 4-44 and White 3-19.
Vale lost five wickets, but were never in any danger of losing.

South African Goolam Bhayat hit 73 and then took 4-29 in 11 overs as Oxford
Downs thrashed Bledlow Ridge by 157 runs.
Wes Bartlett also hit 70 in Downs' 258-9, while Paul Brzezicki took a
commanding 5-52.
Aussie Andrew Binnie (39) was the only batsman to get going for Ridge, who
subsided to 101 all out.

Tiddington's South African import Riaan Krynauw again proved his worth by
hitting 87 at quicker than a run a ball in his side's four wicket win at
Sandford St Martin.
John Talbot contributed 62 as Tiddington successfully chased Sandford's
221-6, which featured 62 from Matt Palmer and an unbeaten 59 from 28 balls
by Martin Anson.

For a time, it looked like Witney Mills' 165-7 may prove enough to see off
Banbury 2nd, but the visitors steadied the ship to claim victory and top
spot.
Sagar Nandi Konda top-scored with 38 for Mills, who then reduced Banbury to
95-4 ­ with Calum Taylor (50) back in the pavilion.
But Mark Haupt (35no) and skipper Jamie Briggs (34no) ensured there were no
further alarms.

Wolverton Town's Arshad Mahmood (5-36) and Andy Gosling (4-53) combined
brilliantly to roll Cumnor over for just 130.
Earlier Town had reached 196-6 thanks to Colin Kightley's 61 and Asim
Hussain's 40 not out, which included three dropped catches.
