PLASTIC surgeon Henk Giele has been restored to the Medical Register following a year's suspension.
On Friday, the General Medical Council agreed to allow him back to work, at Oxford's Radcliffe Infirmary and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, with conditions.
Mr Giele was struck off last March after he was found guilty of serious professional misconduct following an affair with a patient, known only as Mrs A.
But the GMC's judgement was oveturned at the High Court in the autumn on the grounds that the punishment was too severe. It was cut to a 12-month suspension.
