Neil Pratley was in devastating form as he clanged off 16 dolls for Woodman in their 3-0 defeat over Red Lion Brill in Section 2.

Teammate Pat Williams was also in tune, hitting a six as they took all three legs 27-21, 25-22, 26-25.

The victory puts them level at the top with Cowley Workers, who scraped to a 2-1 win at home to Star, 24-19, 22-21, 23-25.

Keith Powell hit a six in his dozen dolls for Star.

After ten years of trying Steve Holden hit his first ever maximum six for Kidlington Sports as they saw off Democrats 3-0 in Section 4.

Keith Quinell chipped in with 14 dolls in the leg scores of 21-12, 22-12, 18-16.

Red Lion Garsington kept up the pressure at the top of Section 5 with an impressive 3-0 home win over Team Monarch.

Their leg scores of 20-19-20 proved to strong for Monarch who replied with 15-17-14. Phil Jackson top-scored with 11 dolls.

In Section 6, Highfield Club and North Oxford Con Club both scored 48 dolls, but it was the latter who came away victorious.

Con Club won the first leg on a three-stick shoot-out after tying the leg 16-16, only to lose the next 15-13.

The deciding leg of 19 was just enough as Highfield came up two short with 17.

Quarry Gate B stay top after a 3-0 victory against Post Office.

Phil Hounslow led the way with 12 dolls as they ran out easy winners 25-12, 19-15, 18-15. Post Office's Mark Bayliss also hit a dozen dolls.

In Section 7, third-placed Brill Sports Club claimed a much needed 2-1 away victory at second-placed Ashton Club.

The game was poised at one leg apiece when Ashton set 13 in the final leg.

After a poor start, Brill rallied well to take the leg by six dolls.

The first two legs went to a three-stick shoot-out between Section 11 sides Cricketers Littleworth and Catherine Wheel.

Both legs were tied 11-11 and 16-16 with each team claiming a leg apiece.

Cricketers set the deciding leg with 11 and it seemed to be enough until the Catherine Wheels' anchorman Andy Buckingham whipped off the four dolls to snatch the leg by a doll.

Den Sellar was a double sixer for Cricketers as they walloped Fox 3-0 in the Premier Section.

Ivor Clarke also hit a six in his 15 dolls as they emerged victorious 34-24, 30-19, 29-22.

Paul Whyte hit 15 dolls as New Club dented Squire Bassett's Section 1 title ambitions with a 2-1 victory in a scoreline of 20-26, 29-24, 27-21.
