With regard to 'Police crackdown on bike thiefs in Oxford' it would be nice if the city council did their part now and provided sufficient numbers of safe cycle parking spaces where they are needed, in the city centre and near shops, cinemas and restaurants.
The current situation is a disgrace for a town which claims to promote cycling, and does little to reduce bike theft.
What are they waiting for?
