OXFORD United report encouraging season ticket sales, with more than 1,000 already sold for the new term starting in August.
With eight days to go until the cheap rate deadline, the Division 1 club are confident of beating last season's figure of 3,300 by May 29.
Ticket officer supervisor Darren Bowler said: "There have been an encouraging number of members upgrading to season tickets, and a surprising amount of non-members committing themselves for next season.
"We have also had an influx of new members."
