Oxford United are to let spectators in free of charge at tonight's Avon Insurance Combination match against Brighton at the Manor - so that they can play their two Argentinian triallists Christian Otero and German Tempone.

The South Americans, who formerly played with Argentinian side CA , both have Italian passports but so far only one has been processed.

United would have been able to play him but not his compatriot under Department of Employment rules governing work permits for non-EEC players.

However, they can get around this by fielding both players providing no-one pays at the turnstiles to watch.

French defender Christophe Remy is also expected to return after injury.

LEE Nix marked his 18th birthday with a goal as Oxford United Youth beat Reading 1-0 in the first round of the Southern Junior Floodlit Cup at the Madejski Stadium last night.
