Leukaemia sufferer Charlotte Johnson was today launching a range of badges and posters to raise funds for a charity which honours young achievers.
Charlotte, 11, of Hollybush Road, Carterton, was one of just 150 youngsters nationwide to receive one of the Child of Achievement awards in February.
The Carterton Community College pupil, who has had leukaemia since she was six, managed to raise £1,600 for Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital between sessions of chemotherapy. Today she was joining Oxford West and Abingdon MP Dr Evan Harris at the C&A store in Oxford to launch the Got The! range, which will help raise cash for the Child of Achievement charity.
Charlotte's mum, Diane, said: "I do not think she minds all the attention but she does say sometimes that she does not quite understand what all the fuss is about."
Charlotte recently completed her latest course of treatment and hopes to be on the road to a full recovery.
