They clearly see City's clash with leaders Bognor Regis Town, who are ten points clear at the top of Ryman League Division 1, as an opportunity to judge properly the highly-rated McSporran whose hopes of a move to Arsenal were dashed last week.

Said City manager Paul Lee: "The interest in Jermaine has been unbelievable. I think the number of people coming to watch him should just about double the gate!"

The number of League clubs set to be represented at the game is believed to run into dozens.

Oxford City: from Torres, Ferdinand, Smith, Hayward, Wallbridge, Cooper, Fontaine, Lee, McSporran, McCleary, Morrisey, Concannon, Potter, Cortes-Cano.

Abingdon Town have re-signed their former defender Stuart Fisher, a member of the Oxford City side that played at Wembley in the 1995 FA Vase final, and he is included in the squad to face fellow strugglers Bracknell Town at Culham Road in Ryman League Division 2 tonight.

Abingdon Tn: from Fleet, Rodney, Fisher, Tovell, Douglas, Price, Didcock, Gills, McNamara, Holmes, Fleming, Wells, Tighe, Keys, McLennon, Ferguson.

IN the FA Umbro Trophy second round, Oxford City have been drawn at home to Ryman Premier Division Enfield, who last week knocked Banbury out of the FA Cup 4-0.

Witney, meanwhile, will no doubt have their spies at City's match tonight after being drawn away to Bognor Regis Town. The ties are due to take place on Saturday, November 21.

Witney striker Matty McDonnell's loan spell at Marlow has been extended for another month.
