Pop musician Paul Mellin was in for a surprise when the other members of his band turned up for his stag night. They all came dressed as characters out of Star Wars before hitting the town for a meal and a few drinks.
But, then, it's the sort of joke you might expect from a group of young men who normally dress up as The Beatles.
Paul, 22, from Bampton, plays George Harrison in the band The Other Beatles, his brother Steve is John Lennon, Ken Greenway is Ringo Starr and Paul Spink plays Paul McCartney.
But at the stag party, they looked totally different - dressed as Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers - but it went down well.
Best man, Steve, 25, of Wilcote View, North Leigh, said: "Paul's a Star Wars nut. He has a room devoted to memorabilia about it.
"We wanted to give him something different for his stag night and he certainly got it."
The lads turned up at Fatty Arbuckles in Oxford and then went on to Laser Quest with their sci-fi gear.
The next day it was back to the conventional as they all dressed up in traditional style for Paul's wedding.
He tied the knot with Helen Reeves, from Lambourn, Berkshire, at Buckland Parish Church.
