Motorists found themselves gridlocked on their way to work this morning.
Hold-ups in Oxford city centre were blamed on contractors laying cables near Magdalen Bridge, and continuing roadworks in Beaumont Street, Worcester Street and Hythe Bridge Street as part of the Oxford Transport Strategy.
