JOCKEY Graham Bradley has said he will continue the battle to clear his name after having his licence to ride suspended following a meeting with Jockey Club officials yesterday.

"I'm totally 100 per cent innocent," he said.

"All I'm worried about is clearing my name - I've done nothing wrong."

Bradley, 38, who lives at Sparsholt, near Wantage, was summoned to appear at Portman Square having been charged at Charing Cross police station on Tuesday with conspiracy to cheat .

Jockey Club officials decided to suspend the jockey with immediate effect, due to the serious nature of the charge brought against him.

"I was very hopeful of keeping my licence but however long it takes, I will continue to fight and fight," he declared.

Bradley, who has won the Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle in his 22 years as a jockey, has the full support of his weighing-room colleagues, who vowed to stand up for him.

Former champion jockey Richard Dunwoody said: "We are all very, very disappointed and we will do eveything in our power to get his licence back."
