ROVER'S Cowley-built Rover 75 has been added to the fleet of car rental company Europcar.

The firm will have examples from the 75 Classic, Club and Connoisseur ranges available at its UK sites.

Uwe Baunack, managing director for Europcar UK, said: "The Rover 75 fits in superbly for our customers who require a stylish vehicle, with the performance and reliability of a quality products that is already proving popular with our customers.

Europcar has 18,000 vehicles - one of the largest rental fleets in the UK - including the latest models from manufacturers ranging from Mercedes-Benz and Porsche to Alfa Romeo, Vauxhall, Fiat, Ford and Land Rover.

Rover has appointed M&C Saatchi to handle its strategic advertising worldwide, building on Rover's recent television and print campaigns in the UK, promoting the new Rover 25 and 45.

Steve Miller, communications director for the Rover brand, said: "The appointment of M&C Saatchi as Rover's global advertising agency provides us with the opportunity to convey a consistent picture of the three new Rover ranges around the world."
