A Thames Valley Police website is receiving large numbers of online visitors two months after its launch.
The site includes the latest news releases which proved particularly useful when former Beatle George Harrison was stabbed at his Henley home.
Spokesman Guy Bailey said: "Our site was a useful focal point for the world's media to link to and to take their information from."
New pages expected to go live later in the year include recruitment advertising for the force. Log on to the website at www.thamesvalley.police.uk
