OXFORD Cheetahs have almost completed their team building after the signing of the Dryml brothers, writes John Gaisford.
It was probably the worst kept secret in speedway, but Ales, 21, and Lukas, 18 in April, finally put pen to paper with a delighted promoter Steve Purchase.
Purchase said: "They are ready and waiting to come over here and are as keen as mustard to get going. It leaves just one piece to be filled, and that news is expectedly shortly."
Ales represented Czchoslovakia in the 1999 World Team Cup as well as gaining the silver medal in the European Junior Championship. Yonger brother Lukas gained sixth place in the same competition.
Meanwhile, Oxford Speedway have agreed a major deal with Fox FM which will include advertising support.
There will be a speedway staff meeting at the Stadium on Monday (7.30).
The 2000 Oxford Cheetahs signed riders: Jimmy Nilsen 8.32 average, Todd
Wiltshire 8.25, Ales Dryml 7.50, Steve Johnston 6.90, Roman Povaznhy 5.48,
Lukas Dryml 5.00 with one position remaining at 3.55.
