Wolvercote's 22-year-old lightweight, Mark Dibsdall, had another win inside the distance at Rover Sports Club, Cowley.
Dibsdall's opponent was Mark Kearley, of Thames Valley ABC, Newbury, who had stopped Witney's Phil Johnson in two rounds recently.
Kearley was no match for Dibsdall's superior punching power, however. Within the first minute of the first round he was forced to take a count of eight as Dibsdall mounted a fierce attack to the body. A good left hook to the solar plexus then put Kearley on the canvas and he was counted out.
Wolvercote's 18-year-old 22-stone super heavyweight, Paul Joyce, has had a walkover in the semi-final of the Junior ABA and is through to the finals on May 6.
Michael O'Leary, Timothy Joyce and Lawrence Lewis will be boxing on Tamworth ABC's show at Drayton Manor on Wednesday, April 26.
