WITNEY Town's Marriotts Stadium pitch, which continues to resemble something more akin to the Somme, looks set to claim another fixture with tonight's rearranged Dr Martens Eastern Division match against Dartford in grave doubt.
It was the abandoned clash against Dartford two weeks ago which turned the pitch into a sea of mud. Chairman Brian Constable said: "The pitch is no better than it has been for weeks."
Thame United bid to turn up the heat on the Ryman League Division 1 promotion favourites when they visit Bromley tonight.
Victory would take Thame into the third promotion place a point above Maidenhead United.
