Talks over the future of 98 jobs are under way at Internet and telephone directory service Scoot, which is moving out of Oxford.
The company plans to moves its head office from the Oxford Business Park at Sandford-on-Thames to Uxbridge, Middlesex, in the summer.
Scoot's managing director Jon Molyneux said: "Our employees are our most valuable asset and we want them all to continue working for Scoot in Uxbridge. We are currently working with our employee council to ensure we are doing everything we can to accommodate individual needs." The firm said the decision to re-locate had been driven by the company's growth and its expansion plans into Europe. It plans to open new offices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal within the next three years.
Earlier this month, Scoot revealed it was in exclusive talks to buy Loot, the classified advertising magazine, which has been valued at 200m.
