A second elderly woman has been mugged and had cash snatched near OAPs' flats.
The 86-year-old, who lives in Fairacres Road, Didcot, was walking to shops when her bag was pulled from her arm.
Thames Valley Police have not revealed the name of the victim or how much was taken. Spokesman Richard Goodfellow said: "The woman was not injured, but was left badly shaken and confused. The bag contained a purse with her weekly shopping money."
The mugging happened at Marlborough Court flats, near Fairacres Road, at 5.15pm on Wednesday. The attacker was a teenage white male wearing an all-in-one shiny, dark orange body suit, who ran off along Cullen Way.
Police said they had an open mind as to whether the incident was connected with a similar attack on an elderly woman in the alleyway between the New Coronet Cinema and the library last month.
Police at Didcot appealed for information on both attacks.
Mr Goodfellow said: "It would be wrong to imply that the incidents amount to a spate of muggings in the area, but we urge all women to be vigilant."
