Jon Talbot's 94 took Chalgrove to the brink of a five-wicket win over Bletchley 2nd, who made 155. Coming in with the score on 15-2, Talbot quickly took charge before becoming the fifth man out at 151. Earlier, Kevin Gladwin (38) and Dave Shepherd (36) held the Bletchley innings together as Steve Strong took 4-41 and Steve Wetherall 3-36.
